Congresswoman Jackie Speier (D-San Francisco/San Mateo) helped to introduced the bipartisan Acts: Childhood Cancer Survivorship, Treatment, Access, and Research (STAR) Act of 2015. and The Pediatric, Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Survivorship Research and Quality of Life Act, she has introduced a resolution to raise awareness and advocate research for DIPG and is a member of the Childhood Cancer Caucus.
